Travel planning is a fee-based service, where a consultant helps you plan your vacation, including accommodations, transportation, dining, activities and more.
A travel agent works off of commissions for booking you with certain airlines, hotels or tour companies. A travel planner is compensated by his or her clients and is, therefore, not limited to brands that pay commissions.
There are many! We have a whole list.
Your Italian Dreams’ owner/principal, Matt Cepkauskas, personally manages every itinerary and makes every recommendation.
The best accommodations and guides book quickly. So, for the best experience, we recommend booking about six months to a year in advance for peak-season travel and four to six months in advance for non-peak-season travel. We can accommodate last-minute requests, but you may encounter certain limitations and restrictions, and your first choices may not be available.
Yes! Matt was 8 years old when he visited Europe for the first time, and it helped shape his love of travel. And we travel with our own daughter today and cherish these experiences. So, we can absolutely design trips with children in mind. Rule No. 1: Less wine, more gelato.
Just say so. This is why the consultation is free. We want you to be happy and confident working with us. If it’s not going to work out, that’s fine. Just say the word. No hassle.
Sounds like a great trip! We can absolutely help plan the Italy portion of your vacation. However, we don’t have the same expertise with traveling in other countries.
See our pricing page.
Based on the information you give us, we offer multiple recommendations for you to choose from. We’re confident you’ll find accommodation, activity and dining recommendations that suit your expectations and budget. But if we’ve completely missed the mark, we’ll revisit our recommendations.
I’m interested in going to Italy someday, but I’m not ready to commit to anything. What should I do?
